And with the advent of FALL to this great state of Texas, I realized I only had about a 3-day window of opportunity to capture the season in its glory.
So … I grabbed my camera and took a really long walk …. Enjoy.
This is the view from our new hammock … a.k.a. my new most favorite place ever. One pillow + one hammock + one good book = heaven.
Totally random, but apparently the “country” likes to have extra fire hydrants situated in the absolute middle of nowhere. Here are two of my favorites.
This is one of my favorite trees along the way.
While jogging, I usually try to pass the time by keeping my mind on ANYTHING other than the fact that i'm half-dying. This spot is on a little uphill climb, so I like to imagine that this is an alligator swamp. Ok, maybe not "swamp" exactly, but alligator pond perhaps. Aside from the alligators, i think this spot is quite pretty.
I know that we tend to try to spiritualize just about everything … but waste removal? Really?!? I don’t get it. Again though … this is East Texas.
A real lake this time. Right down the road. I like this picture a lot.
Really Milwaukee? I’m not impressed.
And I definitely don’t like that your people litter either.
This is the abandoned house that I really want to figure out. And by that I mean explore. It’s made of brick, so it can’t be all that old. It is definitely intriguing. Is exploring still considered trespassing? :)
This is the bamboo forest part of my walk. Since at this point I’ve already seen llamas and alligators, I figure what’s a couple more panda bears?
Here are some more fall favorites.
Then we end up in my backyard. Here is my tent that has been set up for about a week now. It’s nice.
And the price I pay for my little “country” journey? Lots and lots of burrs to pull from my shoelaces. I have many more pictures but hopefully this is sufficient. Thanks for letting me share my little life with you!

Fun! I wish I had a backyard to put my tent. And here's a spiritualization for your waste bin. It says Jireh (check spelling). As we all know, Jehova Jireh means God is my provider. And it makes sense that He provides a place for us to put all our trash and He then takes it away making our home (temple (self)) a cleaner place. How's that?
gee I miss the fall....thailand doesn't have a lot of pretty leaves...
love you! love the pics!

i think exploring is probably still trespassing but i say go for it...just make sure there's no lions, tigers or bears camping out first
